What is Cold Reading?
Cold Reading is "a set of strategies, to do with the
psychology of communication, that enable you to influence what others think, feel and
believe."
I believe it is the most powerful psychological persuasion technique in
the world.
Some people use cold reading in a trivial way to pretend to read
fortunes. The ACR Masterclass is not about
fortune-telling or pretending to
be psychic.

What is 'Applied Cold Reading' or ACR all about?
Some cold reading techniques can be applied to your social and
professional life in a positive and ethically responsible
way. This is what 'ACR' or Applied Cold Reading is all about. ACR is especially useful in selling,
management, negotiation, therapy, training
or inter-personal
communications.
The
ACR Masterclass is context neutral. The Masterclass gives
you a set of skills that cover all the above areas and more. How you use them is up to you.
ACR has nothing to do with fortune-telling, pretending to be psychic,
or mind-reading tricks.
I sell a book on cold reading. The ACR Masterclass starts where the book leaves off. The book
explains how cold reading works. The ACR Masterclass explains how to
benefit by applying some cold
reading methods, personally and professionally, in everyday life'.

ACR News
I have been running the ACR Masterclass since 2008. So far I have had
attendees from all over the UK as well as from Spain, Sweden, Germany, Italy, Switzerland, Israel, Australia and
America!
They have included entrepreneurs, entertainers, managers, sales
executives, teachers, therapists, NLP practitioner, actors, a martial
arts expert and trainer, a model and a professional poker player!
I have made two short (8 minute) videos about the ACR
Masterclass which you can watch on YouTube. The most recent (2009) is called 'Five Good Things'.
