Entertainment > Information for Agents and HirersThis page is for Agents and anyone else interested in representing me or
selling my entertainment services.
At the moment I do not have a sole agent or representative, but I have
worked with several agencies and always very happily. This means if you want to
make money out of me, you can!
I am happy to discuss options, terms and conditions with you at any
time. Just send me an email (please see Home menu > Contact).
Technical requirements for my shows
Lighting: The audience need to be able to
see me, and I need to be able to see the audience. That's it. So if you have house lights,
keep them on because otherwise I'm just staring into darkness and that's no good.
Sound: Everyone needs to be able to hear
me. I have good vocal projection, and I have successfully entertained 300 people without a
microphone or amplification. However, if it's a larger group, or if it's just a good idea
for me to use a microphone, then you will have to provide it. The microphone must
be the type of radio microphone that clips to the lapel of my jacket, so that I can move
around freely and have both my hands free. I regret that the so-called 'Lavalier' type
solution, which involves a sort of 'sling' to hold a standard stage mic around the neck at
chest level, is neither practical nor acceptable.
Staging: I need to be able to get to the
audience, and some of them will need to be able to get to me.
If people are behind me or to the sides, they will probably not get a
very good view, but this is not a problem in terms of the routines and illusions I
perform.
I need a medium-sized table on which to place a few props, and a chair
or two. That's all. I would prefer it if the performing area was otherwise as clear as
possible, and with a plain backdrop.
