Brief Summary: One of the people I admire most in this world. Michael
does many things, and does them all exceedingly well. His advocacy of the skeptical
outlook cannot be bettered, and he handles his countless media appearances just as well as
they could possibly be handled, often under very trying conditions.He has always been very
supportive of my work and a valued ally.

Occidental College, California State University, and Glendale College. He has also written
numerous cycling books based on a 10 year professional career as an ultra-marathon cyclist
and competitor in the transcontinental Race Across America. Has held various cycling
records, e.g. in 1980 held the word ultra-cycling record for cycling from Seattle to San
Diego (1350 miles) in 7 hrs and 28 minutes.
Best Party Trick: Michael knows lots of entertaining and surprising
tricks that he uses in his lectures and in his warm-ups for other speakers, but I won't
divulge any of them here as it would spoil the fun.
