Brief Summary: An immensely resourceful and energetic guy who scores very highly on the Make It Happen-o-meter. He is very good at getting things done and positively devours ambitious multi-media projects the way cats devour cream. He's also unbelievably helpful, thoughtful and generous with his time and talents, and one very nice dude to spend time with. I've literally never asked Richard for help with anything and not found him 100% helpful, knowledgeable and prompt.

Best Party Trick: Richard's origami talents have to be seen to be believed, and even then you can't believe them. He can take just about any old scrap of paper - even a bus ticket - and turn it into anything: Human figure, T.Rex, Rhinocerous, Functioning Combine Harvester... you name it. He does this so casually and instinctively he barely even glances at the paper while he's folding, yet the results are beautifully intricate and beguiling. The only person I know who can do anything equally fascinating with paper is David Alexander, who is a silhouette artist.

Special Powers: Apparent mastery over time dilation, such that while the rest of us can only find 24 hours in each day, Richard can somehow fit about 30 hours of Getting Things Done and Making Things Happen into the same time frame. Nobody knows how he does this.

Known Weaknesses: Total inability to stop thinking up fascinating new projects and then accomplishing them with remarkable efficiency. Known inability to pass up any opportunity to be helpful.
