Esther Rantzen explained that earlier that same afternoon, before the taping of the show and before the studio audience arrived, she and I had sat down together in the empty studio (with only the camera crew present). I had written a prediction on a small pad, which I had then sealed inside two envelopes. Esther herself had then signed the sealed package and written the time on it. This entire process had been taped, and this piece of videotape was now played in so everyone could see it for themselves.
