With the first reading out of the way, I proceeded to give a reading to the second volunteer. What she did not realise was that I was essentially giving exactly the same reading, with only very slight variations in cold reading technique.

After they had had their readings, both volunteers were interviewed by the show's host, Sandi Toksvig. Both women said they were impressed, and were surprised at some of the specific details which I had managed to bring out in the readings.
