Well I did warn you these were not pretty. Incidentally, if you are going to do a lot of walking, and you want to avoid this kind of problem, buy some 'Ecco' brand sandals or walking shoes. They are the best-made, finest, most comfortable, most supportive and protective footwear in the universe. You can walk for miles in them and your feet won't suffer at all.
