| Swirlygig.
This design features a strut which seems to start at A, pass under the card at B, emerge
from the other side at C and reach the end hinge at D. This is impossible without a secret
join, so the actual design is very different. However, the illusion is quite convincing,
and many who see the card (or even handle it) just assume that the strut does pass under
