What you see here is a flat circular ring of paper and a flat circular ring of tin or aluminium foil. The two rings are permanently inter-linked and cannot be separated without breaking at least one of them. Both the paper and the foil are 100% intact. There are no seams or joins on either. No glue or adhesive of any kind was used in making them. This particular set was presented to me as a gift by my good friend Martin Taylor. Martin is quite a remarkable performer, whose website is worth checking out.
