Persuasion Training
We all want to be successful persauders from time to time, whether for professional purposes (e.g. to sell successfully) or for personal reasons. I have been teaching my Practical Persuasion Method (PPM) for over a decade, to private and corporate clients alike. It's one of my favourite subjects to teach and to demonstrate. The photo was taken at the STTAR Summit in Philadelphia, which was all about helping sports coaches to work more successfully with athletes. I was invited to give the keynote on successful persuasion.
About The PPM
If you take a look at my Practical Persuasion Method page, you'll see how it works. First of all, I look at the conventional model of persuasion and some of the problems arising from it. I then present a new, original model of persuasion that's easy to understand and to apply. Having explained the various elements of this model, I show how it applies to a number of practical, real-life situations.
I then invite attendees to suggest real-life scenarios in which they'd like to be more persuasive. Taking each example in turn, I show how the new, PPM model would help in that specific situation. I can supplement these examples with other examples and real-life case studies from my work in this area.
One-to-One Training
The Practical Persuasion Method is one of my most popular subjects with clients who hire me for private, one-to-one training. Although I do offer training online, via Zoom and similar platforms, I much prefer working with clients in real life, for example using a hired meeting or conference room. (The best company to use to find such rooms is:
You can book me for a day or a half-day, as you wish. I usually teach alone but sometimes work with other trainers such as my friend, profesional singer and voice coach Marika Rauscher: https://www.marikarauscher.com/
Past Conferfences
I have presented my Practical Persuasion Method to teams and groups from companies such as the FBI, Google, Coca-Cola, the Crown Estate, Accenture, Unilever the sports psychologists who work with the British Olympics Team, Stansted Airport and London Business School.
