I feel passionate about the art of selling! I'm fascinated by everything from the psychology of selling to the various 'schools' of sales training and the way so many varied factors can affect a company's sales success — or lack of it.

​

I started my career in corporate media, helping companies large and small to sell everything from glue, shoes and cheese to bread, bicycles and bathrooms, painkillers, pet food and plastic pipes!

​

I then moved into IT where I became the UK Head of Sales & Marketing for Valtech, an international internet technologies company. We had clients in a broad range of markets, including banking, manufacturing and retail.

​

I've worked for myself for over 20 years and, of course, have had to be my own sales force! 

​

I welcome every opportunity to help people and companies to sell more easily, effectively and efficiently. I tend to focus on three main areas:

​

  • The art of shaping and crafting a sales message.

​

  • Social and inter-personal skills.

​

  • The real meaning of 'persuasion'.
